GENESEO, N.Y.--The SUNY Potsdam equestrian team competed at the SUNY Geneseo show over the weekend on Nov. 12-13.

On Saturday, junior Alexa Basile led the Bears with a second place finish in intermediate flat and was fourth in intermediate over the fence. Junior Michelle Robinson finished third in novice flat and fifth in novice over the fence. With the performance, Robinson earned enough points to reach the intermediate level in the flat competition and clinch a postseason berth.

Basile was even better on Sunday, finishing first in both the intermediate flat and intermediate over the fence and earning a spot in the ride off. Freshman Arielle Chin posted a first place finish in the novice flat competition and was third in novice over the fence. Robinson had another good day with a second place finish in the novice flat and was third in novice over the fence.
