ROCHESTER, N.Y.- The SUNY Potsdam golf team finished in a tie for seventh place  at the ECAC Qualifiers.  The St. John Fisher Cardinals won the rain-shortened tournament and finished with a score of 304. The Bears ended the tournament with a score of 348.

Potsdam was led by senior Shane Laurie who shot an 82. He was followed by junior Shawn Thomas and freshman Matt Supernault  who each shot an 85. SeniorLee Shippee rounded out the Bears top golfers with a score of 94.

The Bears return to action Oct. 8-9 at the Hamilton Invitational in Clinton, N.Y.
